Who Needs to Audition?
NEW campers are required to attend an audition for camp. Returning Summer Stock Campers never need to audition again.
Dancers
Combinations will be taught during the audition. Come dressed in appropriate dance clothing: Ballet — Tights, leotard, hair pulled back, ballet slippers. Jazz/Hip Hop — Jazz pants, leotard, jazz shoes.
Voice/Singers
Have a song prepared to sing a cappella (no pianist will be provided). 7th-12th grade: Two songs prepared.
Instrumental Musicians
Bring your instrument. Have a selection prepared to perform.
Actors
2nd-6th grades: Will participate in improvisational acting games. 7th-12th grades: Please prepare a one-minute monologue to perform.
Visual & Technical Artists
No audition necessary.
Important Notes
No experience necessary for younger people... no training is better than bad training. If you cannot make the scheduled auditions, we offer private auditions for about one month following the main audition dates.
